Ceramic-Lined Wear-Resistant Pipe
Ceramic wear-resistant pipes are high-performance industrial pipes made from a composite of metal and ceramic. They are widely used in power generation, metallurgy, mining, coal, and chemical industries, and are suitable for transporting abrasive particles and corrosive media. These products comply with the DL/T680-1999 standard of the power industry.
The outer layer of the ceramic wear-resistant pipe is steel, while the inner layer is made of corundum ceramic(Al₂O₃)or silicon carbide(SiC),manufactured through centrifugal casting or self-propagating methods. The Mohs hardness reaches 9.0,providing wear resistance over 10 times that of quenched steel and corrosion resistance more than 10 times that of stainless steel. The temperature range covers-50°C to 700°C,with excellent acid-and alkali-resistance and anti-scaling properties.Pipes can be connected via welding or flanges, with a weight reduction of 20–50%compared to traditional pipes, reducing project costs by 20–40%.In slurry transport in mining, the service life can be increased approximately 5 times, and in applications such as power plant ash discharge or aluminum transport, metal contamination can be avoided. They are ideal for high-wear environments such as thermal power plant ash handling and coal preparation plant gangue transport.
Excellent Wear Resistance:
The wear resistance of ceramic wear-resistant pipes is over 10 times that of high-chrome wear-resistant cast iron pipes.A 5 mm thick ceramic layer provides an actual service life equivalent to a 50 mm thick wear-resistant cast steel pipe.
Corrosion Resistance:
By selecting different wear-resistant ceramic materials, the pipes exhibit superior corrosion resistance against various corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, salts, and halide salts.
High-Temperature Resistance:
The ceramics themselves can withstand temperatures above 1200°C.Through proper design and composite methods, ceramic wear-resistant pipes can operate long-term in a temperature range of-50°C to 800°C,making them especially suitable for high-temperature burners and equipment lining. The internal ceramic lining has high strength and hardness, providing excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
Cost Reduction:
Ceramic wear-resistant pipes are primarily used for transporting solid-liquid two-phase flows containing abrasive particles and corrosive media, replacing expensive stainless steel pipes,high-chrome cast steel pipes, and hard alloy wear-resistant pipes. They help lower project costs while extending service life. With high cost-performance,these pipes reduce maintenance and replacement costs and save time.
Lightweight and Easy to Install:
The manufacturing process is simple, and the pipes are lightweight, making transportation and installation convenient.
